The Hunter Orthopaedic School caters for students from preschool to year 12, with physical and intellectual disabilities. The school follows a mainstream curriculum as well as life skills and distance education programs. Students work towards outcomes as determined by their individual programs.

Our school is unique as it combines education and health services provided by Kaleidoscope (the children's branch of Hunter New England Area Health Service) on the one campus. Students’ physical and educational needs are catered for in an integrated manner.
